According to the Urban Dictionary, a book nerd can sometimes be a really cool person if they got out and socialized more; and most of the time is really hot; just never thought of in that way because they are a nerd.

Yep! Sounds about right.

For some people it’s wine, or shoes, or purses, but books have always been my thing.

You may be a book nerd too if:

1. You love the way a book smells.
2. You’re obsessed with how the pages feel.
3. The library is one of your favorite places to be.
4. You carry multiple books with you, because you never know when you might get a chance to read. Side note: in highly social situations, you consider reading in the bathroom.
5. You have books stacked all over your house. They are your best decorating tool.
6. You are in more than one book club.
7. Your husband wants a date night and you suggest Barnes and Noble. He rolls his eyes.
8. You have at least three books going at the same, at all times (plus one on Audible and one on Kindle).
9. People start to seek your advice on books to read, because they know you have read just about all of them.
10. You keep track of the books you read on a spreadsheet, or GoodReads or any other form because you are super proud of your book-nerdiness.

I have a lofty goal to read 50 books in 2018. Honestly, since I have started writing more, I am way behind, but no worries, I will be using the cooler weather to catch up this fall!
